How they met -they meet AT A CHAPTERS BOOKSTORE -they talk various times about what they care about and where they are in life -john has dislocated shoulder, getting into medicine -sheryl is attempting to get into education -she is into singing, him ultimate frisbee -they sit down, stand up to discuss things at the store Sheryl brings a friend to chapters -sheryl and her friend Amanda see John sitting -they pretend to look at the books in front of starbucks -they discuss leaving because they feel uncomfortable -they grab starbucks drinks and leave Sheryl becomes friends with a girl at school -one friend goes on an excursion with Sheryl with a photographer -he takes them on a ride to his favourite restaurant -They have supper there and the food is great -her friend goes home early and Luca invites Sheryl to his house -he takes sexy pictures of her and leaves voluntarily -her friend takes her to whyte avenue and other things happened Sheryl meets two friends in a school class -two friends were sitting at a table in class -they exchanged numbers -this is were sarah starts to feel inadequate -these girls are performing at high levels while she is not -however they are nice enough to help her with an assignment Sarah meets a friend named Amanda -she was perhaps her favourite -smart, organized, pretty and friendly -Sarah picks her out as the girl who he is probably most likely to “date” john -she is working at a restaurant while going to school Sheryl meets another girl at the school yoga class -they’d do yoga together at the school lawn -Sarah is unable to continue because of getting a headache -her friend invites her out again for yoga and will not see her there again -her friend does not invite her out with her friends at all She meets more friends in various places -a girl named amy at a church she visited -a few girls at her own church -another friend named Brenna was quite nice -she invited her to lunch, she came to the pool with Sarah -all in all the nicest for all she did for her, during very hard times -she would spend more time with Angela -the only one worth mentioning was amy and angela -amy was a great comfort to her when she was balling one day over the breakup -angela is separate as they would spend many moments together An outing together out on the town (a date) -he takes her on a Walk in the park and have dinner -they hold hands and kiss -he uses this chance to tell what her parents say -he asked for her father’s blessing -they have a discussion about their feelings for each other -John finds out she doesn’t want to date at this point -he explains her dad thinks they should part ways here -John should focus on getting into medicine -she should focus too on her career -he has to get his life together and needs healing -she also has animosity of the past Angela -angela would become a huge part of the story -her and Sarah met at the school, in a huge lecturing classroom -she was many good things -but they rubbed shoulders here and there -she would ask things like “who are you going with?” (sarah embarrassed) -she would ask me to edit her paper as Sarah was a pro at this -Angela had lots of guy friends and dated some of them -Sarah hung out with one in particular but she discouraged it -Angela didn’t like that as a previous warning -she said “Lawrence” is a bad guy -she never told me “not” to John and Sheryl decide to get married and so they get engaged -they decide to inform their friends and settle in their house -they throw a big party for the “newly to wed” couple but -Sheryl has doubts -John is meaning to stand by his fiancé (this is exploring the themes of acceptance and love and faith/confidence in oneself) The families -his, hers and Michelle’s (the parents) -each expresses their feelings about john and sheryl -they all have chat with him in some shape or form -he texts Sheryl at this time to tell her what all three PARENTS SAID The engagement -there are many influences in their lives for good him as he brought on the proposal to stop? sheryls mom gets sick -this interferes with their love life because Sheryl is planning the wedding but also making frequent visits to see her mom
